Colour me charmed! While it is a well-known gem of Victorian countryside, I was previously ignorant of, and uninitiated to, the enthusiastic and vibrant music scene of Castlemaine. Last night, all that changed, thanks to Tex Perkins & The Fat Rubber Band, the Theatre Royal, Leicashow Presents, and each and every person in that excellent room.
Anytime I have the opportunity and pleasure of opening for Tex & co., I know it will be a night to remember. Their performance last night was stellar as ever, but I must say – it takes every star to make the night sky bright. Music fans in Castlemaine are attentive, knowledgeable, appreciative, welcoming, and just up for a helluva good time.
So, thank you to all who were there, if your eyes happen to fall on this page.
